News Desk. Payment from UPI has become the need of our life. We pay small to small amounts daily from UPI. But in this digital age, many times due to hasty or not paying attention, we accidentally transfer money to the wrong mobile number or account. It is natural to get nervous as soon as this happens. But here we are telling you the method from which you can get the money back. If the money has gone in any other account by mistake, then you should take some important steps so that you can get your money back.
Here is the process to get back money
First of all, you should contact your bank’s customer care. Tell them the transaction ID, date and time. The bank will file a complaint and try to contact the wrong account holder. If the other person agrees to pay the money, then you will be easily worked.
If you do not get a solution from a bank or app here, then you can file a complaint with NPCI. Website: Complain by going to “dispute redressal system” section. Fill all the information sought here correctly. If no one is returning your money in this case intentionally, then you can complain in a cybercrime cell. Will go for this. Give a copy of the FIR to your bank so that legal action can be taken.
Careful things
If you are paying anyone online by UPI or any other means, then the information of whom you are sending money to the money is filled correctly. In a way, check this before transferring money so that you do not have any problem later.
