However, one bank has announced an increase in the interest rates of FD despite the reduction of 0.50 percent in the repo rate. Suryodaya Small Finance Bank has increased the interest rates of FD (Fixed Deposit) by 41 basis points.

Suryodaya Small Finance Bank (Suryodaya Small Finance Bank FD Scheme) has increased the interest rates by up to 41 basis points for FDs of certain periods. According to the press release of the bank, after this change, general customers are now going to be given interest ranging from 4 percent to 8.60 percent on FD (Suryodaya Small Finance Bank FD Interest rate).

Senior citizens will be offered this much interest-

Senior citizens are being given interest rates ranging from 4.5 percent to 9.10 percent on FD. Suryodaya Small Finance Bank is now going to offer interest rates of 8.60 percent to general citizens and up to 9.10 percent to senior citizens on a 5-year FD (FD interest rate for senior citizen).

These banks have also reduced interest rates-

Along with major banks like State Bank of India (SBI FD rate), HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, small banks like Shivalik Small Finance Bank and Utkarsh Small Finance Bank (latest banking update) have also reduced FD interest rates after RBI reduced the repo rate, although Suryodaya Small Finance Bank is the only bank that has increased its FD interest rate (FD Interest rate hike).
