BANK HOLIDAY MAY 2025: According to the list released by the State Bank of India, there will be a total of 7 bank holidays in Jharkhand in May 2025. These include 4 Sundays, 2 Saturdays and Buddha Purnima holiday. Banks will remain closed on the second Saturday and last Saturday of the month. Apart from this, due to loan related work of the bank in the Godda Civil Court premises on May 10, normal banking services will be limited in some branches of Godda district.
Customers will have to settle important work before the time.
Godda State Bank of India Deposit Withdrawal Chief Manager Neeraj Kumar said that the bank administration has appealed to the customers to complete their important work like check clearance, cash transaction, loan application and documentation process in advance keeping in mind the holiday dates. Normal work in bank branches may be affected due to the loan camp on May 10.
Digital services will remain operational.
The bank administration has also clarified that all digital banking services like internet banking, mobile banking, ATM services and UPI transactions will continue as before during the holiday.

To run banking operations without interruption in the month of May, it is necessary that customers have complete information about the holidays and complete their work before time.
