Bollywood Icons Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol to be Honored with Statue in London

Statue of Bollywood Legends to Grace Leicester Square
In a groundbreaking move for Indian cinema, a bronze statue featuring Bollywood legends Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, captured in a memorable pose from their iconic 1995 film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, is set to be installed at Leicester Square in London. This initiative was announced by the Heart of London Business Alliance on Wednesday.
The statue will become part of the 'Scenes in the Square' movie trail and is scheduled to be unveiled in the spring of this year, just months before the film celebrates its 30th anniversary on October 20. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, often referred to as DDLJ, was the directorial debut of Aditya Chopra and produced by his father, Yash Chopra.
