Customers of the country's largest public sector bank SBI are facing problems in making digital transactions. All types of digital transactions including UPI payments have come to a standstill. Crores of customers have complained about this on the social media platform X. State Bank of India has responded to this. The bank has explained why customers are facing difficulties in digital transactions.
What reason did SBI give?
In a post on X, the State Bank of India has said that due to annual maintenance activities, all our digital services will be closed from 1 pm to 4 pm on April 1. We request customers to use UPI Lite and ATM channels.

However, problems in making UPI payments from SBI have been faced since morning, while the bank has said that digital services will be closed from 1 pm to 4 pm.
