Unified Payments Interface i.e. UPI has become the most popular way of digital payment in India. UPI payment has become an important part of the life of common people in India. Users prefer to make payments through UPI instead of keeping cash. It is very easy and its facility is available almost everywhere. Do you know that now you can share a UPI account not only with your girlfriend or family but also with your bank account? In simple language, people living away from your bank account can also make UPI payment.

The name of this feature is UPI Circle, in which the UPI account holder can allow other people to make payment from his account. The primary user who has a bank and UPI account can create a UPI circle. People who will be added to it will be able to make UPI payment. Currently, 5 people will be able to make payment from the same UPI at the same time. This feature was launched by NPI last year. Currently, you can use this feature through Bhim App. Gradually, this feature will be available on other UPI apps as well.

How does the UPI Circle feature work?

Whoever you want to allow to make payments from your UPI, you will have to add him as a secondary user. Suppose for this, enter the UPI ID of the secondary user. In case the UPI ID is not known, the QR code will have to be scanned.

Full payment delegation or partial payment delegation

In the UPI circle, the primary user gets 2 types of options, in which he can add a secondary user. Through this, the primary user gives full payment delegation or partial payment delegation rights to the secondary user. If the primary UPI user gives permission as full payment delegation in his UPI circle, then the secondary user will be able to make payments up to the set limit without a PIN. If the secondary user is allowed for partial payment delegation, then the primary user's permission will be required for every payment.
