New statement given about payment
Let us tell you that it has been informed that Aadhaar-Based Payment System (APBS) will be kept optional for MNREGA workers. It has been said that this will happen due to operational reasons. Congress MP Saptagiri Sankar Ulaka has informed that the names of workers have been wrongly removed from the system.
Actually, this has happened due to disturbances in Aadhaar and Job Card Records. The Center has made ABPS mandatory from 1 January 2024. But workers often keep changing their accounts, so a new account is not connected, so this system has been kept optional in internal areas.
