SBI YFI Fellowship Registration: SBI Foundation, the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of the State Bank of India Group, has invited applications for the 13th batch of its flagship SBI Youth for India Fellowship. This 13-month fellowship provides young graduates and professionals an opportunity to pursue sustainable development initiatives in rural India. Interested candidates can apply through.
In the last 12 years, 640 fellows have made significant contributions to community development in these key areas for this fellowship.
Eligibility Criteria for Application
The candidate must complete a bachelor's degree before 1 October 2025.
The candidate must be an Indian citizen, a citizen of Nepal/Bhutan, or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
Also, the age of the candidate should be between 21 to 32 years on the day of commencement of the program, i.e. the candidate should not be born before 5 August 1993 and after 6 October 2004.
What is the purpose of this fellowship?
This fellowship provides an opportunity for youth to engage with rural communities to understand their struggles and connect with their aspirations.
The 12 major areas of this fellowship are as follows:
The SBI YFI Fellowship focuses on 12 major areas, including health, rural livelihoods, food security, environmental protection, education, water, technology, women empowerment, self-governance, social entrepreneurship, traditional crafts, and alternative energy. This fellowship works on one of these themes according to their interests during the 13-month program.
