EPFO made records more than 5 crore people in a year

Union Labor and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandavia said that the Employees Provident Fund Organization has established a new milestone. The Union Minister said that EPFO ​​has settled more than 5 crore PF claims. In the financial year 2024-25, the Employees Provident Fund Organization has settled 5.08 crore claims worth Rs 2,05,932.49 crore, along with the claims of Rs 1.87 crore have become auto sales. Which is more than the financial year 2023-24. In FY 2023-24, EPFO ​​had set a claim of Rs 4.45 crore worth Rs 1,82,838.28 crore.

Claim Settlement System made easy- Mansukh Mandavia

The Union Minister said that the EPFO ​​has made the clam settlement quite easy, with the help of which the claim has been settled in large numbers. He said that we have increased the limit and category of auto settlement claim and have also made it easier for the change in the profile of the member and fund transfer system, which has seen an increase in the number of claim settlements.

Claims are being claimed even without HR

Mansukh Mandavia said that due to the easiest claim settlement process, now only 8 percent are people who are needed HR and 48 percent are those who are getting the claim settled without the company themselves. At the same time, 44 percent of the transfer is becoming automatic.
