Sherawat belongs to a very religious family, and her parents were not in favour of her stepping into the industry. However, to pursue her dream, Mallika left everything behind and came to Bombay. She started with a small role and gradually established herself in Bollywood. From being rejected by her family to carving a name for herself in Hollywood, she overcame every obstacle and spared no effort on her path to success.

Mallika also stepped into Hollywood. She appeared in the movie The Myth alongside Jackie Chan. She also starred in the 2010 Hollywood film Hisss. The actress had a successful two-decade-long career. After a long gap, Mallika made a comeback with Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri’s film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. According to media reports, despite not doing many films, Mallika Sherawat is the owner of Rs 170 crores.
