There will be no need for any kind of document for this. This decision of EPFO ​​will benefit 3.9 lakh members with pending applications. These members now have the option to cancel pending applications and make new arrangements.

Who will get this facility?

EPFO has stated that this facility is for members whose universal account number (UAN) has been verified by Aadhaar. The purpose of this process is to reduce complaints and dispose of pending applications quickly. Previously, change required verification from the employer, which took about 28 days.

Aadhaar and PAN should also be linked

Now about 45 percent of the requests can be approved by the member themselves. Other 50 percent can be disposed of only with the approval of the employer without the participation of EPFO. How to update?

Now login by adding your UAN universal account number, password and captcha.

After logging in, click on the 'Manage' tab at the top.

If you need to update personal details such as name, date of birth or gender, select the option 'modify the original details'.

Fill the required information correctly according to your Aadhaar card. The details in EPF and Aadhaar must be the same.

If necessary, upload auxiliary document (eg Aadhaar card, PAN card or birth certificate).
