The recently established European T20 Premier League will be co-owned by Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan. The goal of the T20 cricket league is to transform cricket in the Netherlands, Scotland, and Ireland.The players from the three European countries will have the chance to show off their skills and network with other great players from around the world via the T20 tournament.

The International Cricket Council, which oversees the sport, officially recognized the competition last week, giving the league its largest boost. Players from ICC members and Associate nations will be available for ETPL to sign if the event is approved by the ICC. This year, the competition will take place from July 15 to August 3. Teams from Dublin, Belfast, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Edinburgh, and Glasgow will compete against one another in the league’s first season.

Cricket will become even more popular if it is included to the 2028 Olympic program.
