UPI Transactions New Record: UPI has broken records in transactions. From January to November 2024, 15 thousand 547 crore transactions (UPI Transactions New Record) were done through Unified Payment Interface i.e. UPI. During this period an amount of Rs 223 lakh crore was transferred. The Finance Ministry gave information by sharing a post on X.
The ministry said that trust in UPI is increasing all over the world. Currently, UPI is being used in 7 countries, which include UAE, Singapore, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, France and Mauritius.

Transfer of Rs 21.55 lakh crore in November
According to National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), the organization that regulates UPI, 1 thousand 548 crore transactions were done through UPI in November. During this period an amount of Rs 21.55 lakh crore was transferred. The number of transactions increased by 38 percent compared to November last year. At the same time, transaction volume has increased by 24 percent in one year.

In November 2023, 1 thousand 123 crore transactions were done through UPI and an amount of Rs 17.40 lakh crore was transferred through it. Talking about the average daily transfer in November 2024, it has been Rs 51 crore 60 lakh. On an average, Rs 71 thousand 840 crore has been transferred daily.
UPI Transactions New Record: Know the transactions of the month of October
According to NPCI, 1 thousand 658 crore transactions were done through UPI in October. During this period an amount of Rs 23.50 lakh crore was transferred. UPI was started in April 2016.
UPI is operated by NPCI
RTGS and NEFT payment system in India is operated by RBI. Systems like IMPS, RuPay, UPI are operated by National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI). The government had mandated a zero-fee structure for UPI transactions from January 1, 2020.
