Here you give all the details of transaction ID, recipient's UPI ID and amount. The support teams in these platforms will help you.
Report to NPCI
If your issue is not resolved through the app, you can file the issue with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). For this, visit the NPCI website and click on the 'Dispute Redressal Mechanism' section. Fill all the details like transaction ID etc. here. Also attach a copy of your bank statement.
Contact Payment Service Provider
If even NPCI is unable to resolve your complaint, contact your bank or the Payment Service Provider (PSP) associated with your app. Share all the details of the wrong transaction. Banks and PSPs are obliged to provide regular updates on the status of your complaint through their apps or official communication channels. If the bank of the money transferor and the recipient is the same, the refund process is faster.
RBI Ombudsman
If your problem is not resolved even after complaining through all channels for 30 days, then you can complain to the RBI Ombudsman. File the complaint in the jurisdiction where your bank's branch or payment platform's office is located. Attach the email, bank statement and NPCI responses and all other necessary documents along with your complaint.
