LIC launches special scheme for children, you will get benefits like this

Life Insurance Corporation of India has launched a scholarship scheme for children. Whose name is LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme 2024. Under this, economically weak children will be helped. These children will get scholarship

According to the LIC website, applications for this scheme can be made only online. This scholarship scheme is for students from economically weak families. LIC said that this Golden Jubilee Foundation Scholarship Scheme 2024 is for students from India who have passed 10th, 12th, Diploma or equivalent with minimum 60% CGPA grade in the academic year 2021-22, 2022-23 or 2023-24. Have passed the equivalent examination and are enrolled in the first year of any course in the academic year 2024-25. Only those children are eligible for this.

Through this scheme, scholarship is divided into two parts. The first is general scholarship and the second is special scholarship for girls. In these also, there are two parts in general scholarship, in the first there will be children studying medical and engineering and in the second there will be students doing vocational course and ITI diploma from any government college. There will be a separate scholarship for girls who are doing intermediate according to 10+2 pattern after 10th or doing diploma like ITI or Polytechnic.

This much money will be given in general scholarship

Boys and girls who are eligible for general scholarship will get scholarship. Under this segment, an amount of Rs 40,000 per year will be provided to selected students pursuing higher education in the field of medicine. At the same time, students doing B.Tech etc. in the field of engineering will be given a scholarship of Rs 30,000 every year. On the other hand, those children who have taken admission in vocational courses from government colleges or are doing ITI from government colleges. They will get scholarships of Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000 every year as long as the course runs.

Special Scholarship for Girls

Under this scheme, after 10th, further studies like doing diploma in a particular course or ITI will have to be done. For this, Rs 15,000 will be given, which will be given in two installments of Rs 7500 for 2 years.
