Famous for his parts in Tamanna, Dastak, Trishakti, Josh, and Iski Topi Uske Sar, Bollywood actor Sharad Kapoor is in legal hot water when a young lady accused him of wrongdoing. The accuser claims that Kapoor tried to sexually attack her after inviting her to his house under the guise of a meeting.

According to the lady, she first connected with Sharad Kapoor on Facebook before speaking with him via video conversations. Kapoor reportedly indicated during these discussions that he would want to meet with her to talk about work-related issues. She was then instructed to come to Kapoor’s office in Khar, and she was given a location over the phone. But when she got there, she saw that it was his home, not an office.

According to the complainant, who described the event in detail, Kapoor beckoned her into his bedroom when they arrived at his third-floor flat, where he was discovered sitting naked. She reportedly asked him to change after becoming alarmed by the scenario, but Kapoor allegedly made unwanted approaches, such as requesting an embrace and a kiss. Kapoor reportedly attempted to push himself on her when she refused. After successfully pushing him away, the lady left the scene.

The police have received a complaint from the complainant, who describes herself as an actor and producer. After she made her testimony, Sharad Kapoor was charged under many provisions of the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita, including Section 74 (Assault or use of criminal force against a woman), Section 75 (Harassment of a woman against her will), and Section 79 (Use of disparaging words against a woman).

A well-known figure in the 1990s, Sharad Kapoor has collaborated with Bollywood actors such as Govinda in Kyunki Main Jhooth Nahi Bolta and Shah Rukh Khan in Josh.
