Steps to change photo in Aadhar card
Check if your photo needs to be updated: If your Aadhar card photo is blurry, old or difficult to recognize, then you can change it.
Visit UIDAI website: The first step is to visit the official website of UIDAI uidai.gov.in.
Download update form: On the website, you will find a form to update your Aadhaar details. Download the form and fill in the required information.
Submit the form at your nearest Aadhaar centre: Take the filled form along with the required documents to the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra. Make sure you attach the relevant identification documents as required.
Biometric update: At the Aadhaar centre, your biometric details will be updated as part of the process. This will include taking a new photo of you.
Get a status slip: Once the photo is updated, you will be given a slip with the update request details. You can use this slip to track the status of your Aadhaar update.
Wait for update: It usually takes about two weeks for the new photo to be updated in the Aadhaar system. Once updated, you can download the updated Aadhaar card or opt for a PVC (polyvinyl chloride) Aadhaar card for a more durable version.
