Our biometric and demographic details are recorded on an Aadhaar card. At the same time, there are many people in the country who have not updated their Aadhaar card for a long time. If you got your Aadhaar card ten years ago and have not updated it yet, then you can update it for free.
UIDAI has set the deadline for updating the Aadhaar card for free as December 14, 2024. You can update your Aadhaar card for free till this deadline. If you update your Aadhaar card after this, then you will have to pay a fee of Rs 50 for this.
To update the Aadhaar card, first, you have to visit the myaadhaar portal. After this, you have to log in. After logging in, click on the Document Update button.
After doing this, read the guidelines and click on the Next button. After this, tick the box I verify the above details are correct and click on the Next button.
After doing this, you have to click on Proof of Identity and Proof Of Address and submit. After this, you will get the SRN number. With its help, you can track the status of your document update.
