The All India LIC Games 2024 is an annual sporting event organized by the public sector insurance group and investment firm Life Insurance Corporation of India. Carrom, chess, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, and athletics are the six sports in which the four-day tournament is being hosted.
In the presence of Salil Vishwanath, Executive Director (HRD), Aditya Gupta, Executive Director (Corporate Communications), LIC Northern Zone Zonal Manager J P S Bajaj, and Senior Divisional Managers, Jaipur Division, Siddhartha Mohanty, CEO and Managing Director, LIC of India, officially opened the festival on Tuesday at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Speaking to the athletes, Mohanty said that athletics provide a holistic benefit to a person’s body and mind.
He also emphasized the value of involvement and sportsmanship. According to a LIC press release, the opening ceremony began with the athletes marching by, followed by the CEO raising the flag and officially announcing the start of the All India LIC Games.
