New Delhi: The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has reminded Aadhaar holders to update their details online free of cost before the deadline of December 14, 2024. This extension was granted for two months, starting from September 14, to encourage more residents to update their information.The UIDAI is urging individuals, particularly those who got their Aadhaar issued over 10 years ago and have never updated it, to upload valid Proof of Identity (POI) and Proof of Address (POA) documents.

How To Update Aadhaar Details Online?Updating Aadhaar online is a straightforward process. Residents can log in to the myAadhaar portal using their Aadhaar number and the OTP sent to their registered mobile number. Steps To Update Aadhaar Details Online- Visit myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in.- Log in with your Aadhaar number and OTP.- Verify the identity and address information on your profile.- Select “I verify that the above details are correct.”- Choose the appropriate documents for identity and address verification from the dropdown menu.- Upload the documents, review the details, and submit the request. How To Update Aadhaar Card Offline?For those unable to update Aadhaar online, physical Aadhaar centres and Aadhaar Enrolment Centres offer the service for a nominal fee of Rs 50.
