NRC: NRC i.e. National Citizen Register has been a topic of discussion in the country for a long time. It is being told that recently the BJP ruled state had banned the issuance of Aadhar card without NRC receipt. The Chief Minister of Assam state had announced that no one will be given Aadhar card without NRC receipt. That is, now National Citizen Register is necessary to make new Aadhar card. Sources claim that now this announcement is going to be made in the country's largest state as well. However, no official statement has been given yet. But sources believe that on the lines of Assam, it will be necessary to show NRC receipt to get Aadhar card here too.

Aadhaar not available in Assam

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had made a big announcement a few months ago. Which is also facing a lot of opposition in the state. But immediately after the Chief Minister's order, the administrative officials have made it clear that those who do not have NRC number, their Aadhar card will not be made. However, as per the Chief Minister's order, the order has also been implemented from October. However, some officials are saying in a hushed voice that the order is also being opposed at many places.

this is the objective

The objective of the Assam government behind this is that this order will stop the influx of foreigners in the state. Not only this, the applications received for Aadhar card are much more than the population, which shows that there are suspicious citizens in the state. That is why the Chief Minister has also directed the officials to strictly implement the order. According to the information, if any citizen wants to get an Aadhar card, then he will be able to process it only when he submits the NRC receipt and its hard copy. However, some terms and conditions have also been kept in this.

Now Aadhar card will not be made easily in Assam

According to Himanta Biswa Sarma, "It will no longer be easy to get an Aadhaar card in Assam. It is expected that other states will also be strict about issuing Aadhaar cards. Submitting the NRC Application Receipt Number (ARN) will not apply to those 9.55 lakh people whose biometrics were locked during the NRC process." He said that this year, more applications have been received for Aadhaar cards than the population. In these four districts, Barpeta has 103.74 per cent, Dhubri has 103 per cent, Morigaon and Nagaon both have 101 per cent applications. Which raises suspicion that the influx of foreigners in the state has increased.
