NPCI has recently launched the Delegated Payment System. With its help, users can create a UPI account even without a bank account. Earlier, it is necessary to have a bank account to use the UPI service. Along with this, to activate the UPI ID, it is also necessary to have a mobile and Aadhaar card linked to the bank account.

After the new feature of NCPI, there will be no need for a bank account for UPI service. Now users can create a UPI account for others from their savings account. To enable this service, users have to do a small verification, after which users can make payment.

With the help of this feature of UPI, other family members will be able to manage UPI accounts from one bank account. Along with this, the primary account holder will have the full control. The primary account holder will have the option to enable and disable payment access to the linked account.

How to create a UPI ID without a bank account:

Step 1 - First of all, you have to click on the UPI circle in the UPI payment app and tap on 'Add Family and Friend'.

Step 2 - Now you have to create a secondary UPI ID. For this, you can add his number directly from your contact list.

Step 3 - After this, you will get the option to set the limit of the secondary account and approval of every payment.

Step 4 - The secondary user will get a notification to accept the request. After accepting, the secondary user will be able to transact from the UPI account.
