New Delhi. If you are a member of the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and want to check your account balance or details of past contributions, then now this task has become even easier. EPFO has started a missed call facility for this. To use this service, your mobile number must be registered with the Universal Account Number (UAN) on the unified portal.
If your UAN is linked with any one of the bank account numbers, Aadhaar or PAN, then you can get your account information for free by just giving a missed call to 9966044425. The call will be disconnected automatically as soon as you make a missed call and you will not be charged any fee.
The process to check EPF balance
By missed call
Give a missed call to 9966044425 from your registered mobile.
This call will be disconnected automatically without any charge.
You will get balance information based on any KYC details linked in your UAN.
