One such actress is Mayoori Kango, who left IIT to pursue a career in Bollywood. Once a prominent figure in the industry, Mayoori entertained her fans with dedication before stepping away at the peak of her career. She once turned heads with her sizzling performances in songs such as “Ghar Se Nikalte Hi,” and Mahesh Bhatt’s film “Papa Kehte Hain,” and others.
Mayoori gained acclaim with her roles in films like Badal, Hogi Pyar Ki Jeet, and Betaabi, among others. Her last film appearance was in Vamsi, released 24 years ago in 2000. Mayoori’s passion for acting was inspired by her mother, who was also an actress. Besides films, Mayoori appeared in popular TV series such as Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat, Karishma – The Miracles of Destiny, Kkusum, and Kittie Party.

Later, Mayoori completed her MBA in Marketing and Finance from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business and worked in the United States between 2004 and 2012.
