UPUKLive Desk, New Delhi, Oct 29, 2024, Written By: Avanish Kumar, Lucknow. The government has announced to provide free gas cylinders to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. District Supply Officer of Amroha, Reena Kumar said that 02 free LPG cylinders will be distributed to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana in the district in the first phase from October 2024 to December 2024.
In which, before Diwali, free cylinders will be made available to Aadhaar certified Ujjwala gas connection holders through all the gas agencies operating in the district. For this, such Ujjwala beneficiaries will be eligible whose Aadhaar is linked to their bank account.
Under the scheme, first of all the beneficiary will get a cylinder refill of 14.2 kg by paying as per the prevailing consumer rate at his level, after which 03 to 04 days the subsidy given under the scheme will be transferred to his Aadhaar certified account.
