Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has recently given good news. It has brought a sweet treat to the pensioners under the Employees Pension Scheme (EPS). Pension money will be deposited in their accounts earlier.

According to EPPO, the pension money for the month of October 2024 will be released on October 29, which falls on Diwali festival and public holidays. It can be said that this is a positive aspect.

Pensioners can withdraw their pension money on October 30. Because there is a holiday on October 31. Due to this, the pensioners will not face any difficulties. It is a refreshing element during the festival.

Besides, EPPO has also issued important instructions to all zonal and regional offices. Banks are advised to take steps to ensure that pension money is provided on time.

Whereas Employees Pension Scheme is a social security scheme. Through this employees can get pension after retirement. Employees, companies contribute some amount to this scheme. Employee share, 8.33 percent of company share goes to this scheme.

EPFO members can get EPS pension. Must have at least ten years of service. Must be at least 50 years old. Advance pension is taken on this age basis. The same should be 58 years if regular.
