Post Office Aadhar Update Center: According to India Post, 13,352 Aadhar enrolment cum updation centres have been set up across India to provide Aadhar-related services to the people.

To get rid of the problems in updating the Aadhaar card, now people will get this facility in post offices as well. The government has taken this decision to get rid of the long lines at the Aadhaar centre.

According to the information shared by India Post on the social media platform X, the postal department has also started providing services related to Aadhaar cards keeping in mind the public facilities. Now people can go to the nearest post office and get their Aadhaar card updated. The fee for this will also be the same as that of the Aadhaar centre.

What are the facilities in the post office?

The Government of India has started the services of Aadhaar enrollment and updation in post offices through the Postal Division. According to the official website of the Postal Department, mainly two types of services are being provided in the post office Aadhaar centres.

Aadhaar enrollment:- In the enrollment process, electronic capture of biometric information of people is done. And it is completely free. Aadhaar update:- Under this, people can update their name, email ID, mobile number, address, date of birth, biometric update, photo, 10 fingerprints and iris.
