In the fake message in the name of SBI, customers are being told that they can redeem their SBI Rewards, for which they have to download an APK file by clicking on a special link. Clicking on such a link can make your phone vulnerable to malware or virus, due to which your personal information like bank account details, passwords, etc. can be stolen.

- Do not download unknown links or files: If you receive any suspicious message or link, do not click on it or download any APK file.
- Report fake messages: Report any such messages to the concerned authorities and make people aware about it.
- Pay attention to cybersecurity: Only download applications to your phone and other devices from trusted sources.
