New Delhi: Inflation has hit even before the festive season has started. Government oil marketing companies have increased the prices of commercial LPG cylinders from today i.e. from October 1. The new rates have also come into effect from today. Let us know how much the price of commercial LPG cylinder has increased and whether there is any change in the prices of domestic cylinder also.
What will be the price of commercial cylinder now?
Government-owned oil marketing companies have increased the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder by Rs 48.5. Now the price of 19 kg cylinder in the national capital Delhi is Rs 1,740. Along with this, commercial LPG cylinder will be available for Rs 1,850 in Kolkata, Rs 1,692 in Mumbai and Rs 1,903 in Chennai. Oil companies had also increased the prices of commercial LPG cylinders in August. Then it was just Rs 6.5 per cylinder.
Change in the price of domestic cylinder?
However, it is a matter of relief that only commercial cylinders have been made expensive. There is no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinder. This means that cooking in your kitchen will not be expensive at the moment. But due to increase in the price of commercial cylinders, eating out may become a bit expensive.
