The rates of commercial LPG gas cylinders have been revised, according to oil marketing firms, and will take effect today, October 1. Prices for 5 kilogram Free Trade LPG cylinders have gone up by Rs 12, while rates for 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders have climbed by Rs 48.50.
The price of a 19 kilogram LPG cylinder in Delhi has increased from Rs 1,691.50 to Rs 1,740 due to the LPG cylinder price rise. The price rise of 19 kilogram commercial cylinders by oil marketing businesses occurs for the third-time.
This price hike occurs just before important holidays like Diwali and Dussehra. The cost of an LPG cylinder increased by almost Rs 39 in September as well, from Rs 1,652.50 to Rs 1,691.50.
Restaurants, lodging facilities, and small enterprises that significantly depend on commercial LPG gas cylinders for day-to-day operations would be directly impacted by the price increase. This price adjustment, which is a component in a string of price adjustments, represents the continuous volatility in the world energy market. It is expected that businesses would account for these higher expenses in their operational planning.
