Bollywood actors luxury brands rely on their star powers to attract the masses, unfortunately, the results haven’t been very favorable.
According to a Storyboard 18 study on celebrity-owned brands, it is reported that the majority of the business ventures except Katrina Kaif’s Kay Beauty ,Alia Bhatt’s Ed-a-Mamma and Hrithik Roshan’s HRX’s are suffering losses.
Deepika Padukone launched her luxury skincare brand, 82°E faced a lot of criticism over the high prices and mediocre results. Despite the growth they failed to pick up after the initial response.
As per the study, Deepika Padukone’s 82°E a loss of 25.1 crores at the EBITDA ( Earnings before interest, tax and depreciation) level during the first nine months of FY24.

Alia Bhatt owned Ed-a-Mamma , children comfortable clothing was showing humungous growth. It was estimated to be around Rs 845 crores and sold 51% stake in the brand to Isha Amban led Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd for whooping Rs 350 crores.
Greek god Hrithik Roshan’s clothing and fitness brand, HRX reportedly grown by fivefold and recently crossed the 1000 crore revenue mark.
Roshan launched his clothing line, the casual wear brand HRX at a charity football match in 2014.
