SBI Funds Management buys office space in Mumbai’s BKC for Rs 103 crore

SBI Funds Management has acquired two office properties in Mumbai's Bandra-Kurla Complex for Rs 103 crore. The offices, located on the 10th floor of Parinee Cresenzo, cover a total carpet area of 15,176 sq ft. The deal includes exclusive access to over 12 car parking slots and was registered on September 6.

SBI Funds Management has acquired two office properties in one of the commercial towers in Mumbai’s business district Bandra-Kurla Complex for Rs 103 crore.

The asset management company of the SBI Mutual Fund has purchased the offices spread over a total carpet area of 15,176 sq ft on the 10th floor of Parinee Cresenzo. The deal values the offices at Rs 67,870 per sq ft based on this carpet area.

Along with the offices, the company will also get 1.92% undivided right, title and interest in the common areas and facilities of the commercial tower.

The deal also provides SBI Funds Management exclusive access to over 12 car parking slots in the building. The deal was registered on September 6, showed documents accessed through realty data analytics firm Propstack.

ET’s email query to SBI Funds Management remained unanswered.

The Indian office sector has been seeing sustained growth in demand despite the global sluggishness, and the performance is seen as a testament to the strong fundamentals of demand and the absence of any lasting effects of the global headwinds.
