New Delhi:- Aadhar card is very important to avail various types of government and non-government services in India. But do you know that apart from the white Aadhar card, there is also a blue Aadhar card which the government makes for children, it is also called 'Baal Aadhar Card'. Its background is blue instead of white.

As we have already told you that blue Aadhaar card is made only for children. Blue Aadhaar card is made for children who are 5 years or less. After the age of 5, this blue Aadhaar card with 12 digits automatically becomes invalid.

The first difference is that the blue Aadhaar card is made only for children aged five or less than five years. The second biggest thing is that this Aadhaar card does not contain the biometric information of children.

As soon as the child crosses the age of 5 years, the blue Aadhaar card becomes invalid. After this, a new Aadhaar card has to be made which remains valid till the age of 15 years. After the age of 15, a new Aadhaar card has to be made which also contains biometric information.
According to UIDAI, parents of children can get a blue Aadhaar card made through the school ID card of the child. If the child is very young and has not started going to school yet, then in such a case you have to provide the child's birth certificate or the discharge slip received from the hospital at the time of the child's birth to get the Aadhaar card made.

To get a blue Aadhaar card, you will have to go to the enrollment center with your child. Also, do not forget to take all the necessary documents mentioned above. Go to the enrollment office and fill the enrollment form along with the mentioned documents.

It is important to remember here that your child's blue Aadhaar card will be made on your Aadhaar card. Therefore, make sure to take your Aadhaar card to the enrollment office as well.

As mentioned above, the blue Aadhaar card does not require the child's biometrics, only the child's photo is clicked. After this, further verification is done.

Now when you fill the enrollment form for the blue Aadhaar card, you will have to provide a permanent mobile number there as well. The Aadhaar card will be generated only with the OTP received on this mobile number.
