This free service is available only through the myAadhaar portal. Usually, updating Aadhaar details costs a fee of Rs 50, but this fee is waived by the new deadline.

• Visit the portal: Visit myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in.
• Enter your Aadhaar number: Type your Aadhaar number and enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
• Verify your details: Check the identity and address information displayed on your profile.
• Verify accuracy: Click on 'I verify that the above details are correct'.
• Select documents: Select the document you want to upload from the drop-down menu for identity and address verification.
• Upload documents: Upload the selected documents as required.
• Submit information: Review all the details and submit your update request.
