You can get your Aadhaar back using any one of the following details:

  • Aadhaar number
  • Enrollment ID
  • Aadhaar Virtual ID
  • Registered mobile number or email

Downloading your e-Aadhaar

For those who already know their Aadhaar number, downloading e-Aadhaar is easy. You can do this through the UIDAI website or mAadhaar app.

Through the UIDAI website:

  • Visit UIDAI website myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in.
  • Click on 'Download Aadhaar'.
  • Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha code.
  • You will receive a 4-digit OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP.
  • Click on 'Submit' to download your e-Aadhaar in PDF format.
  • Save the PDF file for future reference.

mAadhaar app:

  • Download the mAadhaar app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  • Open the app and sign in using your Aadhaar number and biometrics.
  • Tap on 'My Aadhaar'.
  • Select 'e-Aadhaar' under 'Download Aadhaar'.
  • Enter the 4-digit OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
  • Click on 'Submit' to download your e-Aadhaar in PDF format.
  • Save the PDF for future use.
  • Getting a PVC Aadhaar Card
  • If you want a physical Aadhaar card, you can apply for a PVC Aadhaar card through the UIDAI website.
