The Employees Provident Fund has given great news to its members. Members are going to get relief from the problems coming on the website. The Union Ministry of Labor and Employment has directed that the problems coming on the EPFO portal and app will be resolved within the next three months. From login to claim settlement on the new website, the facility is expected to be more comfortable and simpler than before. EPFO is preparing to launch a new IT system 2.01 for this.

After the new system comes, no member will need to transfer the member ID (MID) if he changes his job. There were complaints that there were many problems with the existing EPFO portal. The biggest problem was that the login on the website did not happen. Even if the login is done, it again asks for a KYC update whereas KYC has been updated many times before. Apart from this, members are not able to claim their funds. The big reason behind this is that its server is very slow.

Increasing burden
It is believed that due to the increased burden on the portal, such large traffic is not being managed at once. Currently, the IT system on which the EPFO portal works has very low capacity. Now after the new update, it is expected that all these problems will be resolved.

What improvements will be made?
In the updated system, the claim settlement facility will be in auto-processing mode. All pensioners will get a pension on a fixed date. The facility of viewing UAN-based EPFO balance will become easier than before. There will be no need to transfer MID on changing jobs. The hassle of transferring money from one institution to another will also end.
