The real reason behind the stampede and death of seven people at Siddheshwarnath temple in Jehanabad, Bihar has come to light. This accident did not happen due to the rush to offer water inside the temple, but due to the flower sellers beating up the devotees. The big thing is that in view of the expected crowd on the fourth Monday of Sawan, a large number of police and sector magistrates were deployed, despite this, the police and administration people were not present on the spot at the time of the incident.

This revelation has been made by an eyewitness present on the spot. According to Manoj, a local devotee who had come to offer water at the temple, if the police had been present on the spot, perhaps this incident would not have been so big. He said that a large number of devotees had reached the temple on Monday. People were comfortably reaching the Shivling of Bholenath and performing Jalabhishek. During this time, the shopkeepers sitting to sell flowers outside the temple got into a fight with a devotee. All the shopkeepers united in no time. In such a situation, there was a ruckus at the main gate of the temple.

The crowd in the temple was already estimated

People started running here and there to save themselves from this chaos. This led to a stampede and people started running by climbing over each other. According to Manoj, at least 50-60 people must have been injured in this accident. Manoj's statement has been confirmed to a large extent by the district administration as well. The DM's PRO has stated in a press note that a huge crowd was already expected at the temple on Monday. Therefore, a large number of administrative officials were deployed. Police was also deployed in adequate numbers.

The police theory backfired

According to the PRO, this incident happened due to a fight between the flower sellers in the temple. At present, the matter is being investigated. Earlier, the police had claimed that the stampede inside the temple happened due to the chaos among the devotees and this incident happened. However, after new facts came to light, the entire theory of the police has changed. Let us tell you that this temple is on the top of the hill. Not only is there less space inside this temple, the access road to go to the temple from below is also narrow.

The families of the deceased will get a compensation of Rs 4 lakh

Due to this, if there is even a little crowd, it becomes very difficult to control it. According to the DM's PRO, police and administration officials have been deployed on the spot according to the situation. He said that after the accident, on the instructions of CM Nitish Kumar, the families of the deceased will be given a compensation of Rs 4 lakh. At the same time, it has been announced to give Rs 50,000 each to the families of the injured. Apart from this, the CM has also given instructions to make arrangements for better treatment of all the injured.
