Aadhar card holders get the service for free

According to the Unique Identification Authority of India, if you provide the full name registered on your Aadhaar, the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar, or email information, then the Aadhaar number can be obtained. For this process, UIDAI sends OTP via SMS to the registered mobile number after mobile OTP-based authentication. As soon as you enter this OTP, your Aadhaar is presented to you again. This service is provided free of cost to the Aadhaar card holders by the Unique Identification Authority of India. That is, there is no charge of any kind for getting the Aadhaar card again.


  • First of all, you have to visit the official website of UIDAI (https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/retrieve-eid-uid).
  • Now on this page, you will have to enter the name, mobile number, and captcha registered in the Aadhar card.
  • Now you have to tap on the Send OTP button for further processing.
  • By doing this, you will see the information on the next page.
  • Apart from this, the mAadhaar app can also be used on smartphones.
     

  • The option to Retrieve EID/UID is available in this app.
  • Please provide your name, mobile number, and email address.
  • Now after entering the captcha, request OTP.
  • After this, you will get information about your Aadhaar.
