Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana: Now Maharashtra state government has given a great news to women. Apart from the central government, the state government has given great relief to women. Lakhs of women will get 3 free  LPG Gas Cylinders in a year.

Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana: The central government is providing cylinders to women in the country under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana by subsidizing Rs 300 per year to poor women. An average gas cylinder is available for Rs.803. Now, just like the central government, the Maharashtra government has decided to give discounts on gas cylinders to women in the wake of the assembly elections.

Maharashtra government will give free three gas cylinders to women in a year

“Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana” is a social scheme recently launched by the Government of Maharashtra, through which the state government is going to give Rs. 1500 per month to poor women. Now the state government has decided to give 3 free gas cylinders in a year keeping the election in front of women. The government will implement this soon. The state government has also ordered through the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection.

"Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana" who will benefit?

Understand who will get the benefit of this scheme, as per the notification issued by the state government, only those in whose name the gas connection is will get the benefit. Moreover, one family member will get the benefit of the scheme “Chief Minister's Beloved Sister”. The state government will transfer the benefit amount directly to the bank account of the beneficiary. This amount will be in addition to the central government grant of Rs.300.

Who will not get the benefit of "Mukhya Mantri Annapurna Yojana"?

Ration card holders issued after 1st July 2024 will not get the benefit of this scheme of Maharashtra government.

Ujjwala beneficiaries will continue to get benefits for eight months

The central government has announced to continue the subsidy of Rs 300 to poor women under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana for the next eight months i.e. till 31 March 2025. Ujjwala Yojana was launched by the central government in the year 2016. So far more than 9 crore women across the country have joined the scheme and are getting the benefit of a subsidy of Rs 300 per cylinder.
