Actually, Rajasthan government will now supply gas to homes through pipelines along with gas cylinders. For this, two thousand km of pipeline will be laid.

This facility is not available for rural areas right now. Some cities of Rajasthan will be included in it. Then you will not need to buy a gas cylinder at all. You just have to get a gas connection, for which you will have to pay the bill on a monthly basis and the rest of the work will be done.

To end the tension of buying LPG cylinders, the Rajasthan government has taken a big decision. Now pipelines will be laid in 8 big cities of Rajasthan, with the help of which gas will be supplied to homes. Gas supply will be possible in these cities - Jaipur, Kota, Alwar, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Bundi, Ajmer and Pali.

According to this, the target is to provide more than 1 lakh connections in a year. People can join this mission on a large scale and become a part of it. Companies have also started talking about taking tenders for laying the line.

According to Secretary Mines and Petroleum, Anandi, CT gas distribution organizations have been asked to sign MoUs by giving maximum investment proposals for expansion of infrastructure in CNG and PNG sector in the investment summit organized at the end of the year. Along with this, the concerned CGD organizations have been asked to prepare a roadmap for laying the pipeline.

Know how many gas connections will be tried to be issued

It is believed that the government will try to issue around one lakh domestic connections through pipeline this year. Apart from domestic connections, efforts will be made to issue maximum gas connections through pipeline in industrial areas as well as domestic areas.

According to Rajasthan State Gas, 13 organizations are rapidly carrying out CGD work in various areas of Rajasthan. So far, 3,09,443 domestic gas connections and 465 industrial connections have been issued through pipeline.

Along with this, work is being done to provide gas to vehicles through 364 CNG stations. The biggest advantage of supplying gas through pipeline will be that there will be no need to keep heavy cylinders at home.
