e-KYC For LPG Customers: If you also have an LPG gas cylinder connection, then this news may be a relief for you. Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri clarified that there is no time limit for doing eKYC for LPG cylinder. Puri said that oil marketing companies have implemented eKYC to eliminate fake accounts and crack down on fake booking of commercial gas cylinders. You will no longer have to stand in lines for LPG gas cylinders and your work will also be done easily.

You can easily get e-  KYC done from home- Customers do not need to go to the gas agency to get eKYC done. You can easily get eKYC done from home. You can also get e-KYC done through the gas agency employee. 

Through Aadhaar Credentials Capture

After delivery of LPG cylinder, gas agency employees will capture Aadhaar credentials through mobile app and after Aadhaar credentials are captured, OTP will be sent to the customer's registered mobile number. After entering OTP, the e-KYC process will be completed. You can also do KYC yourself through the app of customer oil marketing companies.

KYS was necessary

The central government had made KYC mandatory for gas connection. Due to which long queues were seen outside the gas agencies. People were facing a lot of trouble. Now after this decision, people will definitely get relief. The government's aim was that LPG cylinders should be given only to legitimate customers. Customers can also contact the distributor showroom as per their convenience. Alternatively, customers can also install the OMC app and complete e-KYC on their own.
