Bareilly police in Uttar Pradesh has busted a gang of fraudsters. The members of this gang used to prepare fake documents ranging from Ayushman cards to birth and death certificates, fake Aadhaar cards, PAN cards and other documents by taking huge amounts of money. Army Anti-terrorism had received inputs regarding these. To verify this input, Bareilly Police DSP Pankaj Srivastava reached the accused's hideout in a disguised identity. When he asked the accused to make an Aadhaar card, they made the Aadhaar card in front of him in just 5 minutes.
After this, the police arrested 5 accused from the spot. According to the police, Lucknow Army Intelligence had received inputs about the hideout of the fraudsters. It was told that fake Ayushman cards, fake Aadhaar cards and fake PAN cards are being made in the public service centers around Faridpur and Bithri Chainpur. This input was given to the police by Army Intelligence. After this, SSP Bareilly formed a team under the leadership of CO City Pankaj Srivastava and asked to investigate the hideout of the fraudsters.

When the police team reached the spot, they arrested Avnish Yadav and Sajid, residents of Faridpur. Similarly, they reached village Bichpuri of Bithri Chainpur, from where Sushil, Bablu Kashyap and Anuj were arrested. Police recovered 5 laptops, 6 web cameras, 4 printers, one tablet, one fingerprint scanner, two eye scanners, 6 devices, 57 Aadhaar cards, 4 Ayushman cards, three PAN cards, one voter ID card, three PAN cards, 11 debit cards, 555 photocopies of Aadhaar cards, 30 SIM cards, one birth certificate and one lakh 26 thousand rupees from the accused. Police said that a case has been registered against all the accused under the relevant sections and they have been sent to jail.
