How to complain if there is a problem with your work / UPI transaction? Know step by step online process

UPI Transaction News : A number of complaints may include problems related to changing or deleting accounts in UPI transactions, difficulty in linking or retrieving account information or challenges while canceling registration.

UPI transaction: The largest platform for digital payments in India is UPI i.e. Unified Payments Interface. Its use in daily life has increased a lot. UPI facilitates financial transactions in real time. Various UPI apps offer 24x7 customer service support to enhance the user experience. A very important service is also related to filing UPI complaints. Sometimes you can lodge a complaint due to your own reasons and sometimes due to payment related issues through bank or UPI.

 


What kind of problems arise in UPI payments?

 

Problems with UPI transactions may include changing or deleting accounts, difficulty linking or retrieving account information, or challenges while canceling registration. While working with UPI PIN, you may face issues like unable to set PIN, getting errors about more attempts than PIN, getting your PIN blocked or entering wrong PIN. These problems occur when money is deducted from your account, but the transaction fails. You may also face issues like transactions being sent to the wrong account, pending or declined transactions, exceeding limits or timed out transactions. You may also face issues like unable to log in, failing to register on the app or facing OTP error.

 

 

Know step by step procedure for online complaint

  • First of all go to official website of NPCI- https://www.npci.org.in/
  • Click on 'UPI' option under 'What We Do' tab and select 'Dispute Redressal Mechanism'.
  • Scroll down the page and select the 'Transaction' option under the 'Complain' section.
  • Select the 'Nature of the transaction' that matches your complaint.
  • Select the type of your problem from the options provided on the webpage, such as Account, PIN, Registration, Transaction etc.
  • Enter Bank Name, Transaction ID, UPI ID, Amount, Transaction Date and your Email ID.
  • Enter your registered mobile number and upload a photograph of your updated bank account details.

You can call UPI customer care number. You can contact UPI helpline number 18001201740 for any query or problem. This toll free number is available 24x7 to help you. Provide transaction details including date, time, transaction ID and amount involved. Include a unique identifier for the transaction. Provide bank name, account holder name and account number. Attach screenshots of any error messages or unusual screens. Give a detailed description of the problem you faced. Also share your name and contact information, including phone number and email address.
