Unique Identification Authority of India i.e. UIDAI has given important information regarding updating the Aadhaar card. According to this, if you have not updated your Aadhaar card (Aadhaar update online) for 10 years, then get it updated by June 14.

The last date to update Aadhaar for free is June 14, 2024. You can update your Aadhaar card for free till June 14. After June 14, if you update your address and identity in your Aadhaar card, then you will have to pay a charge of Rs 50. UIDAI suggested that if your Aadhaar card is more than 10 years old then you should update the demographic information under this identity ID.

Go to the UIDAI website and complete this work as soon as possible. For this, you will not have to pay any charge on the UIDAI portal. If you go to the Aadhaar center to update your Aadhaar card, then you will be charged Rs 50.

By following the steps given below, your Aadhaar will be updated in minutes at home.

  • Go to the official site of UIDAI uidai.gov.in.
  • Select your language.
  • If you want to update your address then go to the Aadhaar update option.
  • On the next screen, enter your Aadhaar number and captcha code to log in to My Aadhaar.
  • Now login through the OTP sent to your registered mobile number for verification.
  • Now a new window will open where you have to select the document update option.
  • Now go to document update and verify demographic details like name, date of birth, and address.
  • After this, upload the identity proof and address proof document (less than 2 MB and in PDF, JPEG, or PNG).
  • Upload any one of the listed documents including PAN card, voter card, passport, driving license as proof.

After this, you click on the submit button.

After requesting the update, a 14-digit update request number will be sent to your registered mobile number. This will enable you to track your Aadhaar update request. When the Aadhaar card is updated, you will be updated by mail or message.

If you want, you can go to the Aadhaar card center and make changes to it. Here too your work will be done easily for which you will have to pay only Rs 50.
