Through Ujjwal Yojana, women with gas connections are getting a subsidy of over Rs.350. Crores of people will get subsidies on LPG cylinders from April 2024 to March 2025 for the current financial year.

Last month, the central government announced an increase in subsidy of Rs.300 per cylinder under the Ujjwala Yojana for poor women. This subsidy was earlier only till March 2024. Now the scheme has been extended till March 31, 2025.
The subsidy is directly deposited in the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. If you still do not get this subsidy amount. you must undergo this KYC. For this one has to go to the concerned gas agencies.
