Free LPG Cylinder: A new government is going to be formed in Andhra Pradesh on June 12. Therefore, people are discussing about the schemes given by the government. So.. let's know the latest update regarding 3 free gas cylinders.

TDP won 135 seats in Andhra Pradesh. Not to mention Janasena. The party contested in 21 seats and won all. That is.. as if people won hugely. However.. even if it wins.. now it seems that the coalition may not take a decision on free gas cylinders immediately. There are special reasons for that.

There is no money in the treasury of AP Govt. There are many debts. Chandrababu said the other day, "We don't know how many debts the YCP government has incurred, even if the total figures are taken out." In Telangana, the BRS government has incurred a debt of 7.5 lakh crores and said that it has a debt of 3 lakh crores. After the Congress government released the white paper, the real thing came out. There is tension in the alliance whether the same will happen in AP. The same is affecting the free gas cylinders.

Chandrababu says that AP already has a debt of Rs.13 lakh crore and it is difficult to pay the interest on it. That being said.. they say that they do not know how much the actual debt is unless they do the calculations. That is his intention, he is expecting that the debt will be more. And when there is a mountain of debt...implementation of schemes is very difficult. There is no situation to bring new loan. This is the big challenge ahead of the coalition. Hence it seems that the scheme of free gas cylinders will not be implemented now.

In the Karnataka assembly elections, the BJP government announced that it would provide 3 gas cylinders free per year. She said that they are given during the festivals of Ugadi, Vinayakachavithi and Diwali. But BJP did not win in Karnataka. But now the same BJP has come to power in AP as part of an alliance. Among the Super Six promises announced by Chandrababu, there is a promise of 3 free cylinders per year. However, it seems that this promise will not be implemented now.

In AP too, it seems that the new government will give 3 free gas cylinders during Ugadi, Vinayakachavithi and Diwali. If that is true.. this year Vinayaka Chavithi falls on 7th September and also.. Diwali falls on 1st November. Also in 2025 Ugadi falls on March 30. Therefore, if the government thinks that free gas cylinders should be given on these 3 dates, now this scheme will not be implemented. For the first free cylinder.. have to wait till Ganesh Chaturthi. That means we have to wait for 3 months.

The Congress government in Telangana did not immediately implement the Rs.500k gas cylinder scheme. It was implemented after 3 months of formation of the government. So in those three months some money was paid for this scheme and then it was implemented. As the debts are more in AP than in Telangana, there are expectations that the free gas cylinder scheme may not be implemented immediately. It seems that only the schemes that need to be implemented urgently will be implemented this month. Therefore, it is informed that one has to wait for 3 months for the scheme of free gas cylinders.
