Bollywood film producer Saurav Gupta has filed a complaint against Sunny Deol for fraud and extortion. Saurabh Gupta, a real estate developer turned filmmaker, has stated in the complaint that Sunny took the money saying he was working in a film. However, Saurabh has said that no time has been taken for the film and the money has not been returned.

Saurabh Gupta interacted with Read. At that time, he said, 'A deal was made with Sunny Deol saying that he will work in a film in 2016. He had a deal of 4 crores for the lead role. An amount of one crore was given as advance. However, instead of completing the film, he opted to complete the shoot of Poster Boys (2017). Sunny Deol kept demanding more money from me despite giving advance amount.' Gupta claimed that I have Rs 2 crore 55 lakh in Sunny Deol's account. He has also claimed that Sunny Deol asked me to pay another director as well.

Accusations on Sunny Deol

Saurabh Gupta further accused Sunny and said, 'Sunny Deol signed a fake contract with my company in 2023. When we entered into this agreement, the middle page of the agreement was also changed. At that place, the amount of remuneration for acting in the film was increased from 4 crores to 8 crores. So, the profit was increased to two crores.'
