The deadline for e-KYC is also fixed. All gas consumers have been asked to get e-KYC done by 31 May. The gas connection of consumers who do not get e-KYC done after 31 May will be disconnected. In such a situation, consumers will not be able to get gas cylinders.

A gas agency proprietor said that they have received instructions from the Petroleum and Gas Ministry to get e-KYC done for their consumers by May 31. He said that employees are present in the agency office to get e-KYC done for the consumers.

He said that consumers should bring their Aadhaar card and gas card with them and get their e-KYC done. He said that for e-KYC, he is giving information to all consumers at his level by calling and using microphone.
