Ravi Dubey, who is going to make his Bollywood debut with Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayan, said during the promotion of 'Matsya Kaand', "I remember I had seen Kamal Haasan's film Indian released in the year 1996, in this film he used to become a completely different person using prosthetics. His body language, his face, everything looked different. When I was offered Matsya Kaand, Kamal Haasan's face came in front of my eyes. And I immediately said yes to this series. Because I always wanted to play such a character."
