EPFO provides the facility to members to withdraw advance from their account on emergency occasions like illness, education, marriage and purchase of house etc. However, auto mode for claim settlement was started in April 2020 itself. At that time this facility was available only to those members who were applying to withdraw money for illness. Now you can use this mode during all the emergencies mentioned above. 1. First of all, go to EPFO ​​portal and log in using UAN and password.
2. After logging in, you have to go to 'Online Services'. Then the claim section has to be selected.
3. After that you will have to verify your bank account. Advance money will come into this bank account.
4. You need to upload a scanned copy of your bank account check or a scanned copy of passbook.
5. After that you will have to give information for what you want advance money. In which you can choose any option along with illness and education, marriage of yourself, daughter, son or brother etc.
6. After that you will have to generate Aadhaar based OTP. Then you have to press the submit button.
